Your best bet for hot water is to find yourself a Paloma instantaneous gas water heater, or something similar. They heat the water up as it flows through "instantaneously!" which means you've always got hot water when you need it for (pleanty for showers) and no waste of energy when you don't they can run on LPG or Butane I think... have a dig around ebay for instantaneous gas water heaters and see what you can find I think Murko or Murco is another leading brand. I'd go with gas for most things as electic cookers use a huge amount of power - more than you're likely to be supplied with on a campsite anyway you could maybe run a fridge freezer off campsite electric you'll probably only get around 13-15amp supply (think of it in terms of how many things would I plug into 1 socket at home) hope this helps Dave converting coach to live on in spain. Dear Dave
Thanks for the info regarding water and gas. Have you converted a coach yourself and where abouts in the Southwest are you?
