What would you guys protect the rusting chasis members and outrigers with ? Paint, grease, pregnant dogumen, old engine oil etc.

The site has an offensive word filter so it probably took offence lol
The chassis are often painted with silver paint.
I'm not sure what they use? I would suggest a couple of coats of primer and a coat of gloss top coat on clean dry metal would help protect the chassis.

oh yes i see it now. pregnant dog-umen probably my poor spelling for a type of tar/undersealer.
Sounds like a lot of work. Whilst many bits retain original paint & other parts are so thick they wont rot in my lifetime others are pretty rusty. Gonna be a difficult task getting in all the nooks & crannies to clean up for paint.
