All vehicles have a maximum weight they are designed or permitted to carry. Buses have a weight limit based on the seating capacity and luggage capacity. 15 people to 1 ton. The unladen weight must be displayed on the side of the vehicle.
Cars have a maximum design weight, check the owners manual.
Motorhomes, regardless of origin also have a maximum weight which they are permitted to carry.
If you convert a bus or coach into a motorhome then the vehicle will still have weight restrictions. You cannot overload the chassis and suspension beyond the original design specification.
When driving the vehicle you will still have to adhere to road traffic signs relating to the weight and size of the vehicle.
It is essential you know the length, width, height and weight of your vehicle to keep out of trouble.
