This vehicle followed on from the Atlantian, it brings together the advances of the Atlantian and the inovations found on the Leyland Titan. Adding Air suspension and power steering, commonly engined with Gardner 6lxb or Cummins engines these buses were bodied by ECW and Alexanders amongst others. Semi or fully automatic transmission. Front mounted radiator with long coolant runs particularly well suited to warmer climates. Available in single or double door format with front or mid mounted stair wells. Triple axle version built for asian market. Pleasure to drive, light steering, I personnally prefer the semi auto gear box and gardner engine to the leyland engine and fully auto box. Cummins engine and fully auto best option. Alexanders body superior to ECW for built quality in my opinion.

There are lots of variations on the Olympian, short long and triple axle.
From memory the smallest has an unladen weight of about 12 tonnes.
