Ok so why did you search out this site and join up? I have always been interested in buses, you could say I'm a bus spotter ;D I got a job a bus driver purely because I wanted to learn to drive a bus and gain experience. I converted a vehicle type which I used to travel to school on. I even have a scale model of my bus along with a collection of other buses I have driven including the one I learned in.

I did look into importing an American RV instead of converting my first bus as they're SO cheap over there... but it was just more convenient to convert my own - and I get a diesel engine instead of a huge V8.
I don't have an interest in buses or coaches in themselves - only what they can be converted to. I admit that I very much prefer the look of the older ones though - especially if they've something different to commend them. I guess it must be a LOT nicer to drive a more modern coach though, especially if you want to tour...

I do a lot of amature racing and really need a dedicated car transporter and over night accomadation. So far I've been driving to tracks and staying over in hotels. A converted coach would fitb the bill. Just need to find one that meets my tastes....
