Do double decker bus enthusiasts mind if people convert buses to live in? If not where are the best places to look for a bus for sale and what sort of bus would you go for? I intend to do a lot of travelling in a habitable bus!
Thanks

I can answer this! Some yes, some no... The best idea is to ensure that any original parts are stored safely and let the enthusiast know that, if/when the time comes, restoration will be relatively painless and all original parts are safe. This seems to make things "better" for the hard-core enthusiasts... but to many, unless it's in semi-museum condition and used at rallies and the like, it's a bastardization of what the vehicles are truly meant for. ____________________________________________ Matthew Didier - Enthusiast/Future Owner www.doubledeckerbuses.org/www.helpmakemydreamcometrue.com/

Dealers selling them wont care most being happy to sell them for conversion. The coach company where i store mine are helpful and dont mind. Bus spotter totally ignored it, they'd rather photograph smashed minibuses that are ex fleet. Preservationists stopped in there tracks when we discussed storage once they learned of the fate.
I will at some point when its done try and take it to the local preserved bus running day. See what happens.
Service bus drivers wave.
