Hi, Johnathan.
The sites growing since our first few posts. I keep poping in for a look.
The decker failed its MOT on brakes. Whilst this was a suprise it was also a relief that nothing sinister was found. So internal construction has basically halted with the nights drawing in and working turning to maintenance.
The rear brake shoes were blathered in oil and while they had some lining left it was contaminated.
The shoes are being refurbished, shoping around saved us half the cost and included sand blasting, painting and riviting the linings on.
New oil seals fitted to the reduction hubs.
It would help me greatly if i could find out what kind of oil i need to refill & if anyone knows how tight the hub clamp nut should be.

Hi Steve,
Glad to hear you were only faulted on the Brakes.
Are you doing the brakes and half shafts yourself? I'll ask the mechanic at the coach company I'm driving for at the moment. I'd imagine the oil will be the same as the Olympian.
Will let you know.

Yes i am having a go. I did one rear last week. Second one was stripped on Sunday. I am going to clean bits today. I will refill them together once done.
I am also going to look at the fronts next and taking the oportunity to paint the wheels.
Be great to know what oil to put back in.
