Hi Folks, I dunno if my Iveco really qualifies as a bus - I call it a bus because it's got one of those electric glass bus doors. I've been living in it full time for just under a year now, mostly in Somerset and Wales. Look forward to meeting you all ;D

Hi Folks, I dunno if my Iveco really qualifies as a bus - I call it a bus because it's got one of those electric glass bus doors. (snip) __. And great windows, too. Tell us about them, please. Where did you source them from? Do they open? Are there flyscreens? Do they lock well, not rattle, not leak water on rainy day? I certainly hope that they work as well as they look.

I'm not sure where they were sourced as I bought the bus as a half-done conversion and finished it off myself, with the windows already fitted - probably O'leary's could supply them. They open sliding horizontally and there are built-in fly screens and blinds. The blinds are silvery shiny on the outside and white on the inside. the panes are double glazed but made of some sort of plastic, not glass. I've not had any problems with leaks at all. There are two skylights in the roof with identical blinds and flyscreens so I think those probably come from the same manufacturer. It's good kit and I would recommend them to anybody wanting to put windows in the side of a box van.
